Icemile Alaskan Malamutes comprises of Viking and Beyoncé along with Faith as the team mascot. Although they work their dogs as well as show them, they are taking another year off sledding due to family commitments. Away from dogs, Olivia now works full-time raising and caring for the dogs and son, Hayden. Dan is an IT Manager by weekday and a dog enthusiast by weekend. Dan enjoys the alpha role in their little pack with all bar Olivia taking any notice of what he says. They share a home on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia.

Olivia and Daniel were married in January 1999 and their search for a Malamute began. Ever since she was a child, after watching the Black Ice Malamutes in Iron Will, Olivia has yearned for a Malamute of her own. Having to settle with Labradors all her life she finally got her wish when Dan agreed that the Alaskan Malamute was a truly magnificent animal. The furry ones in the clan are Faith, Beyoncé and Viking. Satinka was their first dog born in June of 1999 with Mojo the addition in April 2000, both since have passed over. Beyonceé came along in November 2003 from Koolrunnings kennels and is their foundation bitch. Viking was bred by Pat and Morty Jenkins of Wolfmountain Kennels in Utah and arrived at Icemile in January 2007. Since his arrival, Viking has taken the show ring by storm and has exceeded their expectations. In 2008 Beyonceé was bred to Viking which produced our puppy, Faith.
