Beyoncé's Pedigree Shines at US Nationals Olivia and Dan were delighted to be in attendance at the 2004 Alaskan Malamute National Specialty in Utah, US. Their
delight turned to ecstacy when Beyoncé's Great Uncle, Quake came away with the "Best of Opposite Sex" award and Great
Grandfather, Sizzle-Man (Am Ch Terraglo FireNice of Wolfmt) at 11 years of age winning the Best Stud Dog class among such luminaries as
Leuitenant Dan, Gunner, Calvin and K.O.
The stage was set early in the week with wins to several of Beyoncé's relatives: -
Sizzle took out the 10-12 years sweepstakes as well as the 10-12 years veterans class at the Regional Specialty.
Great Grandma Zephyr won the 8-10 Veterans class at the National.
Uncle Aero won the Working Dog Showcase.
Uncle Grizzly won the American Bred class at the Regional and National Specialties.
Cousin Kai won the 6-9 months Puppy Dog Sweepstakes as well as the 6-9 months class at the National.
These results speak volumes for the pedigree brought to Australia by Cath Loft of Koolrunnings Kennels. The National
Specialty attracts the best malamutes in world and to have these dogs and their heirs as major contributors to Beyoncé's
pedigree is a great privilege.
