Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW Celebrates 10 Years
May 29 2005 marks the special occasion that is the Championship Specialty Spectacular celebrating 10 years since the
Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW was formed. Judging at the show will be Wendy Willhauck from the United States of America.
Wendy brings with her a wealth of experience in the breed having bred, shown and judged Alaskan Malamutes for over 30
years.
Malamute entries have been received from all over Australia and it will be a fantastic show held at the new Canine
Complex in Glendenning, Sydney. Entries range from Baby Puppies to 13 Year old Veterans. A special parade of Veterans
will be held at lunchtime showcasing the foundation of some of Australias top Malamutes.
We have our four Malamutes entered with Morty leading the way in the Minor-Puppy Dog class. Next will be Mojo in the
strongly contested Open Dog Class. Beyonce will compete in the Junior Bitch Class and our first Malamute, Satinka
at 6 Years of age competing in the Open Neutered Class.
We have the pleasure of hosting 12 people at Icemile for this event and a fun weekend will be had by all catching
up with interstate friends and our extended Malamute family from South Australia, Victoria, ACT and Queensland.
